Ron is a former Vice President of Corporate R&D at Boston Scientific. During his 20 year career as an inventor and innovator in global product development, he has been issued greater than 100 US patents, has successfully defended those patents in litigation against patent violation charges. He also has design around expertise. He has significant experience in medtech M&A, due diligence and board of directors advisory services. He has raised capital, started and sold two companies, one in China. His patent portfolio includes innovation in Cardiovascular, Drug Delivery, GI Endoscopy, Orthopedics, Peripheral Vascular and Urology.
Maria brings objective, multifaceted medical device and life sciences experience and medtech marketing and business strategy knowhow to her clients. Her expertise, gained in Marketing Leadership roles including Vice President of Marketing at Oridion Medical (now Covidien/Medtronic), Director of Marketing at Philips Medical, and Group Marketing Manager at Boston Scientific, has been further honed by close to a decade of consulting to start-ups, mid-market leaders and Fortune 100 companies, like Amgen and InfoBionic. Art is a physician executive and serial entrepreneur. After more than 20 years of clinical experience as an ICU Director, Art served as an EVP for a Fortune 500 company and as an Officer of 3 medical device start-ups, most recently as a medtech CEO for more than 7 years. Two of his start-up companies had successful M&A exists, and the third and a [fourth] spinout remain in business today. Art’s focus is identifying important unmet clinical needs, assisting with M&A and due diligence, and developing feasible and cogent business models for market success and value creation.
Larry combines over three decades of experience across the device industry to bring a transcending point of view to marketing, branding strategy, and creative challenges. A planner, designer, and message crafter, his work involves a hands-on approach that is smart, streamlined, and integrative. Coupled with an understanding of the complexities of science and medical technology, Larry works with MV clients to help bridge the gap between discovering what needs to be done, and getting it done.
Sean is the leader of Medi-Vantage’s Culture Development Practice. Sean began his career at 3M Health Care in sales, marketing, product development and distribution management. His experience at 3M has guided his approach to creating high-performing organizations. While 3M’s collaborative approach to creating innovative solutions for customers is legendary, less well known is 3M’s organizational culture excellence. 3M’s culture and products has enabled the company to outperform the Dow Jones Industrial Average most years since the mid-1980’s. Its cumulative stock price appreciation is 2x that of the DJIA as a whole.
Heather has multiple years of medical imaging R&D product development, and Voice of the Customer studies. At Philips, she gained project management experience and has worked in the specialties of interventional cardiology, cardiac physiology and electrophysiology. Her most recent project was a conjoint analysis done for a molecular diagnostics client.
Fabiana has over 13 years of experience in Medtronic and Serono Int’l evaluating market opportunities and providing recommendations to develop sales and marketing strategies. She has extensive knowledge of international markets and is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish and English. She joined Medtronic in Switzerland as Market Research Manager in the Cardiovascular Division. She has an MA in International Management and a BA in Economics and Business Mgmt. from the University of Lausanne.
Judy is a global marketing communications executive with more than 25 years of experience in the medtech, life sciences and biotechnology industries (medical software, SaaS). She is a specialist in both internal and external communications with a focus on downstream marketing.
Kristina has a varied medical background in a clinical and a research capacity. She worked as an EMT while completing a degree in Medical Microbiology, with a concentration in novel molecular diagnostic techniques. After working clinically at a large teaching hospital, she turned her focus to research projects, honing her analytic and medical writing skills. She is excited to be bringing her knowledge of current medical practice and research to Medi-Vantage and has participated in human factors usability studies and secondary research.

He is a critical care RN with medtech sales experience and comes from an industry career with Directed Systems, Cohealio, VP of Business Development at Respiratory Motion and Director of Marketing at Philips in the EMT and Patient Monitoring divisions.
Peter is a communications specialist for a wide range of audiences including health professionals, industry, and consumers. A 25-year veteran of the healthcare communications industry, Peter provides editorial services and strategic counsel to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, device manufacturers, medical specialty societies, contract research and contract manufacturing organizations, patient advocacy groups, and other organizations engaged in the communication of health-related information.
Kara comes to Medi-Vantage with a strong background in writing, social media and SEO. Her digital media skills keep MV in the sight lines of medical device executives that are looking for the unique services provided by Medi-Vantage.
Diane has research experience in both academic and pharmaceutical settings. In her work, she interprets, reviews, and summarizes scientific data from basic and clinical research studies. She is adept at communicating scientific concepts at all levels, including layperson, undergraduate, and PhD/MD audiences.
